About this site

Radon Reduction Des Moines is an independent referral and information site about radon testing or radon mitigation in Des Moines, Iowa and nearby areas.

What this site is, and is not

• It is a plain-English guide for homeowners, written from the public sources linked on each page.
• It is not a contractor and does not do radon testing or radon mitigation or any related work.
• It is not affiliated with any business, agency or organization named or linked on this site. Links to government pages are there so you can check facts yourself.
• It does not hold any state license, permit or credential for this work, and it never claims to.

Who runs it

This site is owned and run by an independent publisher. It is not a local business and has no office in Des Moines.

Preview note: the operator's name and a contact method will be added here before the site launches.

How referrals will work

This site does not send anyone's request anywhere yet. If a request feature is added later:

• Any provider will be named on the site with its Iowa HHS radon mitigation credential number, checked against the Iowa HHS list before any request is sent.
• Before-and-after radon tests will not be bundled through the mitigation provider's firm, in line with Iowa's independent-testing rule.
• A request will go to one independent provider only, and the page will say so before you send anything.
• The provider may pay the site owner a fee for referrals. That will be stated on the site.
• This privacy page will be updated before any request feature goes live.

Corrections
